Who we are when we open our hearts.

Love is the transformative force that heals and unites us.

What if we could show up in the world with love? Years ago when Just Love was just a concept, we wondered: what if everything could be stripped back to existing differently in the world, loving our neighbors in ways that actually changed something?

That dream grew into a handful of small spiritual communities across Greater New Orleans and beyond. Each one a little different. Each one rooted in presence, trust and the kind of love that listens.

OUR VISION

We believe that love, when shown through authentic presence and selfless care, has the power to transform lives. It's not just about healing, but about creating lasting, meaningful connections where people find belonging, wholeness and a shared sense of purpose. Through this love, we create the kind of community that turns the world upside-down.

OUR MISSION

We exist to selflessly love our neighbors body, mind and soul with care, presence and authenticity. Our mission is to walk alongside others in their journey toward healing and improvement, creating spaces where transformation happens gradually, through everyday acts of love and connection. Together, we build a life of balance in each other.

OUR VALUES

We value humility, empowerment and selfless love. We show up, listen deeply and take action when it matters. Together, we grow toward wholeness in body, mind and soul, building trust, serving one another and creating a community where love is freely given and generously received. These values guide how we show up for each other every day.

THE HEART OF HOW WE LIVE

We all have been so stressed it made us physically sick or witnessed such beauty it felt like a spiritual experience. Those feelings and experiences demonstrate the mind-body-soul connection. And when we tend to all three, wholeness becomes possible. It all started with a question and we like to stay in the questions.

Meet Our Team

No one needs a label to be part of something whole.

Our bodies carry us through the world. When basic needs go unmet, it’s hard to focus on anything else. We believe in the sacredness of tending to physical well-being through rest, nutrition, movement and care. It’s about restoring balance and it’s where healing often starts.

In New Orleans, access to healthy food and safe, affordable housing are key. We work to ensure that everyone’s basic bodily needs are met, helping people focus on their mental and spiritual well-being once these needs are secured.

The mind holds our thoughts, beliefs and inner narratives. A healthy mind means more than avoiding burnout, it’s about embracing mental clarity, emotional resilience and space for wonder. We care about your mental health because it shapes how you show up to life and in connection with others.

In New Orleans, mental and educational health are big needs. We focus on offering support to enhance mental well-being, fostering environments where people can grow in self-awareness and resilience.

Our Heritage

We’re rooted in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a tradition that calls itself “a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.” That means we believe everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table—because that’s how God welcomes us. No fine print. No prerequisites. Just a wide, open invitation.

And when we say “everyone,” we mean it. We work alongside all kinds of communities…Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, and many more….because we believe wholeness, healing, and justice are too big to tackle alone. That’s what being “ecumenical” and “interfaith” looks like for us: partnering across traditions, building relationships, and showing up together. For example, our heritage has spent over 25 years working alongside the United Church of Christ in Global Ministries, as well as the United Church of Canada, and the Catholic Church, to name a few. In our city, we partner with faith leaders from diverse backgrounds to care for our neighbors in tangible ways through the East Jefferson Interfaith Alliance and NOLA Interfaith.

We also believe that unity isn’t about everyone thinking the same; it’s about staying at the table, even when we disagree, and making room for each other. Our spiritual ancestors had a phrase for this: “unity, not uniformity.” And we’re still living in that today.
