What if belonging came first?
Just Love - Greater New Orleans helps neighbors flourish—body, mind, and soul—by turning curiosity into care, care into deeper connection, and connection into collaboration across our city.
In Greater New Orleans, beauty and resilience live right alongside fragmentation, distrust, unmet needs, and the lingering effects of personal, communal, and institutional harm.
We believe many people are still hungry for meaning, belonging, trustworthy relationships, and practical ways to love their neighbors—but they are often cautious of institutions and skeptical of religion for good reason.
That is why Just Love - Greater New Orleans exists: not simply to run programs or gather crowds, but to help create healthier, more trustworthy ways for people to encounter one another, care for one another, and work together for the good of the city.
Rooted in the life and way of Jesus, shaped also by the wisdom of other spiritual and philosophical teachers, and grounded in humility and honesty, we create spaces where people can ask real questions, feel seen and valued, receive practical care, build authentic relationships, and move toward collaborative action.
Love is a rhythm we keep returning to. We begin with curiosity, because listening comes first. Curiosity grows into care. Care deepens into connection. Connection leads to collaboration. And then we circle back, again and again, widening the circle as we go.
Two ways we live this out
Everything we do grows from that rhythm, and it takes shape in two ways.
Curiosity
Spaces to ask honest questions, share stories, and build trust across differences. This is where connection starts... at a table, over coffee, around a good question.
Collaboration
Turning relationships into shared action... caring for neighbors, supporting families, and working across traditions for the good of the city.
There is a place for you here.
Wherever you are... curious, skeptical, worn out, or just looking for people you can be real with... there is room for you. Come sit at a table. Ask anything. Or just listen. No expectations, no pressure.
Come be curious with us.
