Curious Neighbors brings together a handful of people who probably would not have met otherwise. Different traditions. Different neighborhoods. Different histories with the same city. Whatever the particular makeup, the shape stays the same... a small group sharing a table over several months, getting past the version of each other they assumed.

Not to debate. Not to find out how much we agree on. Just to ask real questions and find out who is actually across from us.

Every group runs on the Curious Code, the same one we use everywhere. Respect beats being right. Listen first. Questions before conclusions. Nobody is trying to change anybody, and you are never asked to speak for your whole tradition or explain your entire self. You are there as a neighbor, which is a lower bar and a more interesting one.

Each group looks a little different. Different people, different rhythm, different reason for gathering. Some meet over dinner, some over coffee, some around a question somebody brought and could not stop thinking about.

What tends to happen is that a group gets to know each other well enough to want to do something together. We hope for that. We do not schedule it.
